Registration is now open Grand Strand Youth Hockey's 2025-26 hockey season. Our youth leagues are open to any player ages 6-17 years old.
We offer two divisions of play:
- Mites Division: Beginner to intermediate skill level players who are at least 6 years old and no older than 13 years old.
- Juniors Division: Intermediate to advanced skill level players who are at least 10 years old and no older than 17 years old.
Ages for our leagues are determined by your player's age at the start of our league year, which is Sept. 1, 2025.
Registration & Fees
Space is limited to the first 50 players in each league. Register before Sept. 7, 2025, to secure your player's roster spot for the spring season (click here to register).
Beginning on Sept. 8, 2025, late registration will be accepted as space allows up until the start of league games on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025.
The cost to participate in league play is $160 per player. Fees cover jersey, player insurance, officiating and rink time for practices and an 8-game schedule plus at least one playoff game.

Practices & Game Schedules
The time commitment for players in our youth leagues is 2-3 hours per week. All players will practice with their team one day per week, on either Tuesday or Thursday evening between 5:30-8:30 p.m. Day of the week will depend on team assignment and league officials will do our best to honor schedule requests.
Games will take place on Saturdays between 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. There is also a potential for make-up game dates on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday evenings, if weather does not allow for play on the weekend.
Team practices will begin the week of Sept. 15, 2025, and games will begin on Sept. 27, 2025. Each team will play an 8-game schedule, plus at least one playoff game.
Fall season will run a total 12 weeks with a target end date before Thanksgiving break. End date will be no later than Dec. 13, 2025.
Note: As a league, we operate on Horry County Schools calendar. We do not hold practices, games or league events on days when school is not in session. There will be no practices on Oct. 14 due to school holidays.
